Fair Queen and Little Miss
2025 Dallas County Fair
Queen Contest
Any young woman between ages 16-21 who resides in Dallas County is eligible to apply and participate. Each contestant must be an active member of at least one service organization in her community, such as a church group, Girl Scouts, 4-H, FFA, etc. Eligibility is not limited to 4-H or FFA Memberships.

Please make sure to reserve the following dates on your calendar for required queen candidate activities at the Dallas County Extension Office and Dallas County Fairgrounds:

Little Miss Contest
Be part of the Little Miss Dallas County Fair contest! This exciting opportunity allows young contestants to build confidence, make lasting memories, and spend time with the Fair Queen during fair events.
Who is Eligible
Any young lady between the ages of 6-8 who resides in Dallas County is eligible to apply and participate.
*NOTE: Participation will be limited to the first 15 applicants on a first come basis. Please make sure you and your candidate will not have any schedule conflicts on Friday, July 11, that would prevent you from participating so as not to take away the opportunity from other candidates. Applications will close once 15 applications are received.
APPLICATION OPEN JUNE 1ST
Dallas County Little Miss
Represent the Dallas County Fair as a Little Miss and gain:
- Positive relationships
- Agriculture experience at the fairgrounds
- Confidence
- Lifelong memories
Judging will be based on the following:

- Appearance and Awareness
- Leadership and Citizenship
- Contribution to Community
- Overall Appearance
- Charm
- Poise
Little Miss Judging Date
Contestants will have a short interview with the judges the afternoon of the contest. Also will practice walking/talking on stage. Timing to be determined and communicated after registration closes. Potential time commitment from 12:00 – 4:30 p.m.
During the on-stage portion, contestants will walk, wave, talk (could include, but not limited to, self-introduction, answering interview question(s), etc.).

Judging will occur on Center Stage at the Dallas County Fairgrounds
